Abstract Submission
Abstract Submission has Closed - There Will Be No Deadline Extension - Thank You to All Submitters - Good Luck!!!
The following describes the upcoming abstract submission specifications:
We suggest that the body be prepared in a word processing software first and then copied and pasted into the new submission form below. The body of the abstract should be organized into Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections.
The abstract is subjected to a 250 word limit for the combined Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections. Abstracts exceeding this limit cannot be submitted. Please be mindful of the word counter displayed below, to the right of the submission fields for the body. This restriction is only applied to the body, not to the title or other components.
All abstracts will be competitively considered for limited oral presentation slots. If a presenter has no interest in presenting orally, please mark the check-box for ‘do not consider for oral presentation’. Abstracts not selected for oral presentation will be invited to present in poster form. Only the first-author is permitted to present an abstract. Each student may submit only one abstract for consideration; additional abstracts from the same first-author will be neither considered for oral presentation nor invited to the poster session. Both oral and poster presentations will be judged and prizes for the top presentations of that session will be awarded based on scientific content, visual design and layout, clarity, ability to address questions, and scientific significance. Awards will be presented immediately after the keynote talk. Author names should be typed with first name first, middle initial second (if relevant), followed by the last name (e.g., Lisa M. Abernathy). If any special characters are needed (e.g., an accent over a letter), please send an email to Erik at ecbrown@med.wayne.edu and it will be added to the final abstract.
